LMS Code of Conduct

This agreement applies as between you, the User of this Website and Onboard Maritime, the owner(s) of this Website. Your agreement to comply with these Terms and Conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the Website. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should stop using the Website immediately.

No part of this Website is intended to constitute a contractual offer capable of acceptance. Your order constitutes a contractual offer and Our acceptance of that offer is deemed to occur upon Our sending a confirmation email to you indicating that your order has been accepted.

1. License to Use Our LMS

1.1          You may: 

               1.1.1          access the course on our LMS using a web browser.
               1.1.2         download the downloadable material, save and view them on your computer, and print copies of them.

1.2          You must not:

               1.2.1          edit, modify, adapt, or alter any material on our LMS, including course content.
               1.2.2          Publish, republish, sell, license, sub-license, rent, transfer, broadcast, distribute or redistribute any material on Onboard                                              Maritime LMS including course content.
               1.2.3          use any or any part of material on our LMS, including course content, in any way that is unlawful or in breach of any person’s                                    legal rights under any applicable law, or in any way that is offensive, indecent, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
               1.2.4          use any material on our LMS for commercial purposes.

 1.3        You must keep, and not delete or remove any copyright notices from course content including the downloadable material.

 1.4        You must not authorise any third party to access any of our LMS data without prior agreement.

 1.5        You may only use our LMS for your own personal learning and development purposes.

2. Security

2.1         You must keep your login details and password confidential and notify us immediately if you become aware of any disclose of your                        password.

2.2         Each candidate is responsible for the security and use of their username and password. You must not disclose your username or                            password to anyone else.

2.3         We have the right to disable any user login details or password, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with                  any of the provisions of these terms of use.

2.4         You must adhere and comply with our login security process.

2.5         Individual login details and IP addresses are monitored.

3.1         All efforts have been made to ensure our course content is up to date at the time of publication, we make no warranties,                                            representations or guarantees that all content is accurate.
  
3.2         Our LMS and materials include further links to websites or third-party sources. This information is provided for your help, and we have                    no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the contents of the linked websites or resources.
